We sit on the A583 Blackpool Road between Kirkham and Wrea Green, a couple of minutes from Ribby Hall Village and Mill Farm. Junction 3 of the M55 is about six minutes away.

Do I need to book a table at Buraq?
Booking is strongly recommended, especially Friday, Saturday and for the Sunday buffet. You can reserve a table online in a few seconds, or call us on 01772 681 515.
What time is the Sunday buffet?
Our all-you-can-eat buffet runs every Sunday from 3pm. It is £17.50 for adults and £9.95 for children, and the menu rotates on a four-week cycle so it is never the same twice.
Is Buraq halal?
Yes. All of our meat is halal.
Do you cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free diets?
We do. There is a full vegetarian and vegan section on the menu, Quorn is available across our classic curries, and gluten-free naans can be made — just tell us when you order.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery is £2.00 within a three mile radius of Kirkham, then £2.00 per mile after that. Order by phone on 01772 681 515 or online.

There is a free private car park directly in front of the restaurant on Blackpool Road.
Are you open on Tuesdays?
No — Buraq is closed on Tuesdays. We are open every other evening of the week.
Can you cater for a large party or an event?
Yes. We regularly cater for weddings, birthdays, corporate events and private parties, both in the restaurant and off-site. Get in touch and we will build a menu around you.
How much does a curry cost at Buraq?
Classic curries start at £8.05 for chicken and £9.05 for lamb on the restaurant menu, and £7.15 and £8.25 on the takeaway menu. Buraq specialities run £8.95 to £10.95, tandoori sizzlers £8.95 to £15.90, and rice and naan £1.00 to £4.25. Every price is listed in full on the menu pages.
Do you take card payments?
Yes — cash, credit and debit cards are all accepted, and all prices include VAT.
Is there parking at Buraq?
Yes. There is a free private car park directly in front of the restaurant on Blackpool Road, with step-free access to the entrance.
Do you do Christmas Day and Boxing Day?
We have opened on Christmas Day in recent years for both sit-down meals and takeaway collection. Dates and menus are confirmed each autumn — call 01772 681 515 from October onwards.
What is the difference between a korma, a bhuna and a jalfrezi?
A korma is the mildest — coconut powder and fresh cream, sweet rather than spiced. A bhuna is medium, cooked down with fresh onions, tomatoes and coriander into a thick sauce. A jalfrezi is the hot one, cooked with capsicum, onion, tomato and whole green chillies.
